IT'S A WIN FOR BIN!
Han Bin ran the gauntlet by surviving the bumper field to become the 2015 Chinese Amateur Masters Champion. The 34 year old also now wins a wildcard into next week’s Shanghai Masters.
Over 4000 cueists entered the competition that was played in various venues across the country, and, which took more than five months to complete. The tournament was endorsed by professional household names throughout, with the final witnessed by World Champion guests Shaun Murphy and Peter Ebdon.
The remaining last 32 came to Shanghai over the 11th and 12th of September to play down to a winner. By the Saturday, they had reached the semi-final stage.
Bin, from the capital city of the North China‘s Shanxi province, defeated Hao Cheng 4-0 in the last four, and then had another comfortable 5-1 victory over Zhou Changfu in the final.
