           MORE SUCCESS FOR CAUSIER

Congratulations to David Causier, who last weekend became the 2015 LITEtask British Open Champion.

Causier has had a remarkable year on the baize. He has won a string of titles, including the World Championship ‘Double’ a few months ago in Leeds.

He was rarely troubled throughout here, eventually beating Peter Gilchrist in a re-run of the WC final for the trophy. He fashioned runs of 122, 120 105, 168, 146 and 108(unfinished) in a comfortable 821-343 victory.

37 players representing 5 different countries entered the event, initially starting out in round robin groups that went into the single knockout Last 16.
