Amateur Snooker - 2015 Malaysian National Snooker Championship

          ELVIN ENDS HIS LEAN SPELL!

Elvin Lean won his second Malaysian National Snooker Championship - 19 years on from his first!

128 players started the event, which culminated in a final between Lean and Saiful Bahari.

In the last 4, Lean had come through a 5 hour epic with HA Tan 6-5, whilst Bahari shocked the much fancied Lim Kok Leong 6-2.

Lean began the final well taking 3-0, 4-1 and 5-2 leads. Bahari briefly threatened a rally when securing the eighth and ninth frames, but the champion confirmed the title in the next. He also pocketed RM7,000 prize money (around £1100).
