Youth Snooker - Under 21's & Under 16's Home Snooker Internationals

HONOURS SPLIT IN LEEDS
Teams from England and Wales claimed titles at last week's Home Youth Internationals at the Northern Snooker Centre.
The English retained the Under 21's Championship with a clean sweep of 5 victories against Republic of Ireland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Belgium to finish top of the table.
The winning combination consisted of Peter Devlin, Ashley Carty, Richard Haney, Joe O'Connor, Louis Heathcote and Nico Elton.
ROI and Wales ended up in exactly joint second with the same amount of points and frames won/lost - their fixture against each other also finished 6-6!
Belgium's Kope Vanoppen made the highest break with an effort of 117.
In the Under 16's division, Welsh quartet of Dylan Emery, Callum Matthews, Alfie Davies and Brad Ferguson ousted defending champions England A by just a single frame after both teams ended up on 8 points (4 wins / 1 loss).
Emery was the individual player of the tournament with 13 out of 15 wins, he also chalked up the highest break with an 82.
