DAVIS RETURNS TO THE WINNER'S CIRCLE

Former WEPF World Champion Adam Davis is once again a winner on tour after he captured Event 3 of the 2016 UK Pool Tour at Telford last weekend.

The Englishman, who conquered the World in 2011, was the last cueist standing from a bumper three figure plus field at the Park Inn.

In all 7 of his matches to the title, no-one got to within two frames of him come the final result.

In earlier rounds he dispatched established players such as Eddie Barker (L64) and Chris Gill (L16) both 7-3, before seeing off Neil Davey (7-4) and Mick Hill (reigning WEPF WC, 8-5) in the Quarter and Semi-Finals respectively.

In the Final he overcame the man who succeeded him as World Champion, John Roe, whom he beat 8-5 for yet another major honour and the £2,400 winner's kitty.

Jordan Church claimed the Challenge Tour title.
