Teams from Merseyside won both titles on offer at the recent English National County Snooker Championships Finals Weekends.

Held at the Allied Snooker Centre in Sheffield, season culminating finals in both the A and B sections were contested.

Merseyside A, captained by Andy Molyneux, secured the title for a record third time following a narrow 33-31 victory over Shropshire and West Midlands.

Meanwhile, the Merseyside B team also came through on the right side of a close encounter when they ousted Leicester by the same scoreline to take the B Section Championship.

Throughout the season, teams had played against each other in Round Robins and then a Knock-Out phase.
