RYAN RACES TO CONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Held at the ACBS Clubrooms in Auckland, New Zealand; Ryan Thomerson carved through the field to lift the 2015 Under 21’s Oceania Snooker Championship.
Australia’s Thomerson dropped just 4 frames in the entire tournament, making ten half centuries throughout (70 x3 being his best effort, which was also the competitions highest break).
He won all three group phase matches, and then whitewashed Kyle Renton (Australia) in the quarter-finals 4-0, before dispatching Jayme White (Australia) 5-2 in the last 4.
He faced New Zealander Louis Chand in the final, but made light work of his opponent in a comfortable 6-1 win.
