After opening tour stops in Wales and Scotland, the IPA circuit reaches English soil on Friday morning with action from the Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford. Across the three days at the venue a trio of titles will be confirmed with Professional, Open and Amateurs Championships at stake.

Ben Davies returns to the scene of his memorable World Championship victory earlier in the year where he ousted fellow Welshman Simon Ward by a deciding frame in the final.

Since that dramatic win in February Davies has had mixed results in IPA events. Opening round defeats occurred at Tour 1, but Quarter-Final and Semi-Final finishes were assured in the Professional and Open events respectively at Tour 2. More recently he failed to qualify for the next phase of the live televised Champions Cup.

However, positive thoughts of his surroundings this weekend could inspire him and at
odds of 9/1 with Black Type Bet to claim the English Professional Championship and 8/1 for the English Open, you could get some interest if he finds his touch again.

Consistent McAllister
Honours on the 2018 Tour have been shared out so far, with several different names going deep in events. The player of the campaign at present, though, probably goes to Jon McAllister, who has made back-to-back Open finals.

The Englishman bounced back from losing the Welsh Open final to Ward by depositing the Scottish Open title when overcoming Greg Batten in an epic final which went all the way. McAllister also came through his mini section of the Champions Cup and will feature in the Last 16 later on in the year. He is
12/1 to chalk up consecutive Opens.

Professional event results have not gone his way as yet this year, but he is a previous pro event winner on tour. He is
17/2 to take the pro title in Bradford.

Big Hitters Aplenty
Defending English Professional Champion is IPA World Number 1 Marc Farnsworth who is the
4/1 favourite with Black Type Bet to retain the title.

Just behind him at the head of the odds is reigning English Open Champion Mark Boyle, who won March's Scottish Professional. For successive professional titles
he is an 11/2 shot. Both Boyle (13/2 for the Open) and Farnsworth (4/1 for the Open) are in opposite sides of the draw for the Professional, but not the Open.

14/1 (Pro event and Open) and is Northern Irish legend Ronan McCarthy, who has had an impressive 12 months in the Pool World. Amongst consistent performances and results, in 2017 he scooped the British Open title and made the Semi-Finals of the English Professional and the Final of the European Professional.

He started the 2018 IPA Tour with a bang when he secured the Welsh Professional trophy, although he was not present in Scotland afterwards.

An Amateur Angle
Lee Clough's return to the IPA circuit has been incredible. The former IPA Masters Champion has shown his class by winning back to back amateur events in Cardiff and Aberdeen.
'The Tower' is 3/1 to make it a record-breaking hat-trick.
