DUNSTER LEADS SUPREME POOL SERIES RANKINGS RACE

It is still relatively early doors, but Liam Dunster provisionally tops the Supreme Pool Series Rankings List after two events.

Scotland's Dunster has been a model of consistency so far by reaching back-to-back finals at the Jason Owen Open and the recent Strachan Cup where he lost to champions Scott Gillespie and Phil Harrison respectively. Both runner-up spots earned him 220 points each, meaning he heads the pack with 440.

In second place on 410 points is Harrison, who was eliminated in the Losers Qualifying Round during event 1 in May.

Ronan McCarthy sits in third place with 340 points, the Northern Irishman backed up a Semi-Final finish in the JOO with a Quarter-Final showing at the SC.

Gillespie's immediate exit last weekend after losing his opening two matches straight off means he occupies fourth place with 310 points.

Marc Farnsworth and Tom Cousins are locked in joint fifth with 260 points, whilst there is a six-way tie between Shaun Storry, John Roe, Jayson Shaw, Karl O'Donoghue, Jon McAllister and Adam Davis next on the list who each have 240 points.

Dunster (£6,000), Harrison (£5,500), McCarthy (£3,000), Roe (£500) have all cashed in both events so far, meaning there has already been a spread of prize money distribution with 28 different players cashing from the opening two stops.

After event 4, the K8.com Classic in September, the rankings list will determine placings for November/December's Home Leisure Direct Grand Finals where the winner will walk away with a record-breaking £51,000.
